I’M ABSOLUTELY HEAD OVER HEELS WITH SUKIN’S SUPER GREENS RANGE.
When I started dermarolling, I wanted a serum that would help my skin recover effectively. I chose Sukin’s Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum. I apply the serum immediately after dermarolling directly followed by my everyday moisturiser. As I’ve been super pleased with my skin since I started dermarolling and using the Facial Recovery Serum, I decided to try more of Sukin’s products. I recently tried the Super Greens Nourishing Chia Seed Oil and the Super Greens Nutrient Rich Facial Moisturiser.
I’ve always been dubious about face oils. Having a naturally oily T-zone, I’ve always thought that applying oil could make things worse. I’ve read various articles about the benefits of using facial oils, but it’s always seemed incredibly risky to me. If I’m already oily, surely more oil won’t solve the problem?
While it may seem counterintuitive, oiling up my face has actually had amazing results. My T-zone is way less oily, especially where my glasses sit on the bridge of my nose. I’m honestly still shocked at how great my skin is with minimal effort. I’ve found that since using the Super Greens Nourishing Chia Seed Oil I don’t need my moisturiser or any additional products. My complexion is also better overall, so I don’t need to apply as much makeup in the mornings.
The only thing I don’t love about the Sukin Super Greens range products is their smell. That being said, the fact that they don’t smell ~amazing~ is because they’re free of preservatives and made of natural ingredients. I should probably clarify: they don’t smell bad, they just don’t smell the way I’ve come to expect my beauty products to smell. (Dare me to say “smell” more times in one sentence?)
I’m really pleased with how the Nourishing Chia Seed Oil has impacted my routine. Its time saving effects are two fold: fewer products to apply before bed and less time applying makeup in the mornings. Definitely Lazy Girl approved.
