Closet Organisation

I hoard clothes. I struggle to get rid of them, but then struggle to find a way to fit them all in. I know I should be parting with more of them, but I have an emotional connection to a lot of them. I know it’s silly, but with a lot of my clothes I remember where I was when I bought them, what occasion they were bought for and who I was with when I bought them. A lot of my clothes have sentimental value and remind me of home. Call me a sucker, but I’m genuinely emotionally attached to my clothes (sorry Lazy Boyfriend, but a lot of these clothes are gonna have to stay).

Needless to say, this mild hoarding problem has created some ~issues~ when it comes to storing our stuff. I moved in with Lazy Boyfriend almost a year and a half ago. When two people’s closets collide, it becomes a lot to handle. To help deal with our insane unmanageable closet, we enlisted an expert.

Krista Thompson, a professional organiser and the creator of Zen Den Oxford came to save our closet. Before coming over, I sent Krista some photos of our closet and the closet in our guest room. She sent me a list of affordable storage options to help get us organised.

Krista saved our closet. We have SO much more room and it’s so much easier to find everything. Honestly, it’s been incredible. Additionally, she came in and took over. I didn’t have to lift a finger, the true lazy girl way! Not only that, but having an organised closet saves me loads of time getting ready, aka more time to lie around in bed!
