Made this ultimate classic for my blog launch a couple of weeks ago! Since then I've had a few messages asking me for the recipe, so I thought it was a great recipe to share to kick-off Lazy Girl Eats. As with all things Lazy Girl, this recipe is super easy & quick (but still delicious).
If you make this (or any other Lazy Girl recipes) please use the hashtag #LazyGirlEats when posting so I can checkout all your posts!
Hope you enjoy!
150g Rice Krispies
½ tsp Pink Food Colouring (or more / less depending on colour preference)
Melt the butter in a large saucepan on low - medium heat.
Once butter is melted, add marshmallows. Keep stirring to ensure they don’t burn or stick to the bottom.
Once the marshmallows are melted, add the the food colouring and stir until it’s evenly spread throughout the mixture.
Add the rice krispies and stir until they’re all evenly coated.
Pour the mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and allow to sit until firm.
Cut into desired shapes using a knife / cookie cutter.
I put some white chocolate stars on this one to make it a little more festive!
